Decode & Edit
Edit the fields or the hex; the other side follows.
Screens
What it does
BScriptView keeps the window of its predecessor, TransactionBuilder: the transaction's own fields at the top, a list of inputs and of outputs with the selected one's details, and the hex at the bottom. Type or paste hex and the fields fill in. Type in a field and the hex is written again, without touching any other byte.
How it works
Editing a transaction does not sign it again: any change invalidates its signatures.
Two-way
Hex decodes into fields as you type; a field encodes back into hex as you type. What you are typing is never reformatted under your cursor.
Every byte has a field
Focus a field and its bytes are marked in the hex. Hover a byte to see which field it belongs to and its value; click it to open that input or output.
Byte-exact
Decoding and encoding again gives exactly the same bytes, so editing one field changes only that field's bytes and the ids.
Errors in place
A value that cannot be read is marked red where you typed it, with the reason, and the hex stays as it was until it is fixed.
Add and remove
The + and − buttons add a blank input or output and remove the selected one, as in the original.
Open and save
Open a file with the hex or the raw bytes of a transaction, and save it back in either form.
