Witness & Taproot
SegWit and Taproot, item by item.

What it does
Most transactions today carry their signatures in the witness. BScriptView shows each input's witness next to its scriptSig, one item per line, and works out what the items are: an ECDSA or Schnorr signature with its sighash type, a public key, a P2WSH witness script or a Taproot leaf script, decoded, and its control block.
How it works
BIP 144 serialization
Marker, flag and witnesses are read exactly as Bitcoin Core reads them, including the cases Core refuses, which are reported rather than hidden.
Taproot
Key-path and script-path spends, control blocks with their leaf version and depth, and the annex.
Addresses
P2WPKH, P2WSH and P2TR outputs get their bech32 or bech32m address; nested SegWit inputs their P2SH address.
Two ids
The txid hashes the transaction without witnesses, the wtxid with them; both are shown and copied with one click.
Good to know
- Weight and virtual size per BIP 141
- <empty> for an empty witness item
- Pay-to-anchor outputs recognised
- Witness versions 2 to 16 shown as such
